When I first heard about Turkey bingo, my initial thought was “Do the turkeys get to play too, or are they just the prizes?” I had a quick crash course on what the fantastic event was all about. It’s bingo – Great! Win Turkeys? – Even Butter! So this year I had the opportunity along side Mayor Montina to help with Turkey Bingo. Unfortunately the Turkey’s caught wind of what was happening and we instead had chickens for prizes. It was a great community event where the community hall was absolutely rocking. I was happy to see so many enjoying the night with their families.
I really wish we could bottle up the excitement and energy of this event. As a result of all the fun that was had I’m really looking forward to helping with this event in the future! Thanks for the amazing night Coalhurst!
